In short, I design websites. More than just website design, I deliver my clients a connection to their audience through a user experience that's memorable and easy to navigate. With an emphasis on design and attention to detail, I strive for a final product that's polished and approachable. I'm currently working for Images In Tile as the resident web designer, along with sharing the workload of the company art director in graphics work. On a regular basis I'm retouching digital artwork, preparing art for large-scale projects and even taking product photos. Photoshop is open daily at my workspace and I've been known to dabble in audio and video production. I have always had a passion for creativity in all forms of media, and being technically inclined, I especially appreciate the behind-the-scenes production as much as the art of the final result. With a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, I want to bring function to the form that I love. I'm influenced by freethinkers and individualists, inspired by all things unique and alternative and passionate about all things digital (though I admire analog tangibles).

Images In Tile  visit site
While working at Images In Tile (a custom tile mural manufacturer) I quickly found that the company was in need of a fresh online presence. The old website was functional, but it didn't offer much to draw a visitor in and keep them interested. I decided to shift the focus of the new look onto the impressive work the company has done by making project photos front and center and vastly expanding their portfolio gallery. And, of course, a visitor can still easily tour the company's manufacturing process. This website is marketed primarily towards commercial projects.
Bison Coating & Supply  visit site
A sister company to Images In Tile, Bison Coating & Supply distributes tile to customers making their own murals and artwork. Bison Coating's original ecommerce website was as basic and dated as could be; not even a secure checkout was available. A fresh start was an obvious need, so after extensive customization of a Volusion ecommerce backbone, I unveiled the new Bison Coating store offering its customers a much more user friendly and informational experience. I took all new product photos and added helpful articles written by the owner to ease new customers into the tile-mural-making process. Alongside the new store launch, I managed an email campaign to help promote the new Bison Coating to customers.
Chris Auckerman Portfolio  visit site
A seasoned graphic artist and illustrator came to me with the realization that he lacked a comprehensive portfolio of his work over the years. In a collaborative design effort, I formed Chris' layout ideas into a functional website; simple and clean. The modular design makes this website especially flexible for new additions to his portfolio.
Promotional Flash Drive
About two weeks before an important trade show in Las Vegas hosted by one of Images In Tile's biggest distributors, the Images In Tile team, including myself, was brainstorming how better to present and sell our product to this distributor. We already had promo CDs from past shows, but looking at them again revealed a dated and unprofessional presentation of our company. We arrived at the idea of using custom-branded flash drives to pass out to representatives; a useful and petite promotional package. I gathered up promo and pricing sheets, watermarked product and project photos, and put a fresh intro on our company profile video (I included multiple file formats for flexibility). The final result was a handsome product chock full of selling tools.
Promotional Client-Specific Website for Daltile  visit site
Launched alongside the creation of a promotional flash drive, this website was designed with a specific client in mind as presented by Images In Tile. I modeled the design after the client's own corporate website in order for them to sell our product as if it were their own. The end result was essentially the contents of the promotional flash drive in website form; all PDF promo and pricing sheets, video and product photos are readily availble for download. Ease of use was a necessity.
Go Mural
A side project of Images In Tile, Go Mural was the result of team effort to penetrate a specific market in selling our tile mural products. The website was something of an informational teaser to stir interest in the idea of tile murals as a fundraising tool. The design was a collaborative effort involving two graphic artists and myself.
Promotional Client-Specific Website for Populous  visit site
Similar to the tailor-made website for an Images In Tile distributor, I created this website for our sales team who were wooing a valuable client. The design was modeled after the client's own corporate website for internal company use. Watermarked product photos, promotional video, and pricing and process breakdowns were all included in an easy-to-use design.
Donation Website for Joplin Humane Society  visit site
In a last minute ordeal, I was asked to create a fundraising website to accompany hard copies of donation solicitations. I gave the Humane Society this fully functional donation page within a day connected to the foundation's PayPal account and displaying the tile murals and dedication tiles used to improve donation amounts. All donors received a personal inscription on a tile displayed next to the mural of their choice.
